Beth Miller has a Masters degree in Counseling and is a PCI Certified Parent Coach®. She is passionate about helping parents learn new ways to connect with their children and create the family life they desire.
Beth began her career teaching students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. Upon completing her Masters degree, Beth became a high school counselor. Beth then spent 15 years as Parent Counselor and Program Director at Tuesday's Child, a non-profit agency in Chicago which provides education and support for parents of children with behavioral or developmental challenges.
Beth’s passion for helping families led her to the Parent Coach Certification® program at the PCI, founded by Gloria DeGaetanto. Beth has a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago. She received her Parent Coach Certification® through the Parent Coaching Institute in affiliation with Seattle Pacific University. This is the only graduate level training program in the United States that offers certification in parent coaching.
Beth completed instructor training and certification through Action for Children to teach The Art of Positive Parenting, TAPP. This course focuses on helping parents create a mutually respectful family environment.
Beth and her husband are the parents of three beautifully imperfect sons who have been her best teachers. She has a newfound passion for yoga and paddle boarding and resides in Wilmette, a suburb of Chicago.
