Parents meet privately with Beth to clarify needs, learn new skills, create a plan and take action steps to reach goals. Research and information is shared to help you improve communication, alleviate power struggles, and enhance daily interactions. This personalized support allows you to make positive changes in your family.
Parent coaching sessions are 60 minutes and include an emailed summary with action steps outlined. Sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly in person (for clients in the Chicago area) or by phone, FaceTime or Skype. Twelve sessions are recommended to achieve maximum results.
Parents who engage in parent coaching find it beneficial to "get on the same page" with their partner. If you find your different parenting styles cause frustration or additional stress, Beth can help. You will work to clarify your goals and values; understand parenting styles and temperaments; and implement effective strategies. You will respond consistently and feel confident when interacting with your family.
